BIOGRAPHY: Two-year starter awarded varying degrees of all-Conference honors since his junior campaign. Second on the team in total tackles last season, posting 52/4/1 after 46/6.5/3.5 the prior year.

POSITIVES: Colabella is a hard-working small-school defender with limited size and speed for the next level. He possesses a special teams mentality, which is his ticket to the next level.

NEGATIVES: Undersized, slowed up in the trash and struggles getting off blocks. Overanxious at times, lacks speed to the flanks and struggles making plays in reverse.

ANALYSIS: Hard-working, intense linebacker with a good head for the ball. Remains disciplined with assignments, flows laterally to the ball, and shows a lot of toughness to his game. Flies around the play sacrificing his body to make the tackle, yet plays disciplined football. Effectively uses his hands to protect himself and quickly fills gaps up the field in run defense.
