BIOGRAPHY: Three-year starter awarded varying degrees of all-Conference honors since his sophomore campaign. Totals last season included 53/5/11 after 40/2/8 the prior year.

POSITIVES: Physical defensive back with good coverage skills. Jams opponents at the line of scrimmage, aggressive throughout the routes and quickly locates the pass in the air. Gets vertical and contorts in midair to intercept or defend the throw. Shows ability in zone, displays good overall awareness as well hands for the interception. Possesses a closing burst of speed and a quick break to the ball out of his plant. Willing run defender who quickly comes up the field and squares into ball carriers. Tough and plays injured.

NEGATIVES: Struggles staying with opponents out of their breaks. Lacks classic size/speed numbers for a cornerback.

ANALYSIS: Quin is a well rounded defensive back with a solid game. His lack of speed presents limitations but his physical nature and football awareness makes it possible to place him in a number of defensive systems at the next level. He offers possibilities as a dime cornerback or may be moved inside to safety.
