BIOGRAPHY: Three-year starter awarded all-Conference honors the past two seasons. Junior totals included 58/6/7 at cornerback, 7/143/2
at receiver with average of 14.4-yards on 17 punt returns and 19.4-yards on 21 kick returns. Sophomore totals included 83/6/10
with a 25.7-yard average on 32 kick returns.
POSITIVES: Explosive athlete who shows flashes of ability as a shutdown cornerback. Displays a burst of speed and the ability to stay
with opponents anywhere on the field. Rarely challenged by quarterbacks, quick footed and displays a great break to the throw
out of his plant. Gets vertical and adjusts or contorts to defend the throw. Fast up the field, fights to get off blocks,
and voluntarily defends screen passes or the run. Runs well laterally with opponents, reads the receivers? eyes, and quickly
gets his head back around and then positions himself to make a play on the ball. Displays good eye/hand coordination as a
receiver and makes the difficult over-the-shoulder reception downfield. Terrific special teams player who changes the tempo
of games with long returns as a punt or kick returner.
NEGATIVES: Falls asleep on occasion, and lets receivers past him when he should not. Slow turning his hips, and loses in transition out
of his backpedal.
ANALYSIS: Moore is a tremendous athlete who helped Vanderbilt on defense, offense, as well as special teams. He has all the skills to
be a starting cornerback at the next level, and he should only get better as he improves his fundamentals and receives more
playing time on the field.
