PLAYERS
Biography: Two-year starter who finished with 64/2/11 as a junior when he was second on the team in tackles. Led Kansas State as a sophomore
with 76 tackles when he also intercepted three passes and broke up 15 more.
Positives: Physically aggressive cornerback with a solid game. Quick flipping his hips transitioning off the line with opponents, effectively reads receivers eyes than positions himself to defend the throw. Plays faster than his 40 time, runs downfield with opponents, and shows the ability to recover. Possesses a nice burst to the ball out of his breaks and has a terrific move to the throw. Aggressive run defender who sacrifices his body to make the tackle. Negatives: Must be more consistent with his backpedal. Late reacting to the action at times. Analysis: Moore has been a terrific performer on the field the past two seasons and is one of the most underrated cornerbacks in this draft. He ran poorly at the combine and will be downgraded accordingly, yet Moore possesses all the tools necessary to develop into a second cornerback at the next level. Projection: 4th |
