Position: OLB
Class: 4Sr
School: Missouri
Conference: Big 12
HT: 6-1.5
WT: 239
40 Time: 4.55
Biography: Three-year starter awarded All-American and All-Conference honors since his junior season. Led Missouri in tackles the past two seasons posting 111/14.5/4.5 as a senior, a career best 155/18.5/5 the prior year and 130/9.5/3 as a sophomore.

Positives: Undersized yet athletic weak side linebacker prospect who makes plays sideline to sideline. Fluid moving about the field, plays with good balance and nicely flows to the action. Shows a good head for the ball in run defense, has a burst to the action, and wraps up tackling. Uses his hands to protect himself, covers a lot of area on the field, and makes a lot of plays in space. Fast on the flanks and easily cuts off the corners from running backs. Shows a nastiness in his game.

Negatives: Lacks overall size and easily blocked from the action or gets caught up in the traffic. Bites on play-action passes and occasionally comes up the field to quickly.

Analysis: Weatherspoon has been ultra productive on the college level and possesses the speed and movement skills to start as a weak side linebacker in the NFL. He's a terrific prospect and a three-down linebacker.

Projection: 1-2
