BIOGRAPHY: Junior-college transfer awarded all-Conference honors the past two seasons. Completed 69.2% of his field goals as a senior, hitting on just 2-of-5 from 40 yards or longer. Longest field goal last season was 43 yards. Hit on 84.2% of his field goals the prior season, with a long of 47 yards. Averaged 67.9 yards on 88 kickoffs last year.

POSITIVES: Strong-legged kicker with the ability to consistently put his kickoffs near or into opposing end zones. Gets good lift on kicks, drives them down the field, and gets hang time. Athletic, sized well, and gets down the field to make the tackle in coverage.

NEGATIVES: Displays marginal accuracy as a field goal kicker. Rarely asked to make field goals from long range or in clutch situations.

ANALYSIS: Buehler is a prospect with a good degree of upside, and he's a player with the leg strength to make an NFL roster. He needs to improve his field goal accuracy, but he is a solid developmental prospect who should be kept on a practice squad for a least one season to hone his skills.
