Biography: Three-year starter at both guard and center. All-Conference selection as a sophomore.

Positives: Nice-sized blocker best in a small area. Plays with good lean, explosive at the point, and really attacks assignments. Stays square, strong, and turns defenders off the ball. Keeps his head on a swivel, picks up stunts or twists thrown by the opponent, and works hard to finish blocks.

Negatives: Struggles to adjust, and lacks agility. Slow if asked to kick out or block in motion. Tends to steer opponents rather than finish blocks.

Analysis: Hawley is a well-sized lineman who's been productive on the college level. He's not a great athlete yet could be an effective backup with the ability to be used at center or guard.
