BIOGRAPHY: Junior-college transfer who started the past two seasons at Central Arkansas, winning all-Conference honors after each campaign. Senior totals included 45/737/11, when he averaged 16.4 yards per reception. Junior totals were 37/499/7.

POSITIVES: Branson has been a playmaker for Central Arkansas and is a classic move tight end that would be effective in a system such as the one run by the Denver Broncos or Indianapolis Colts. Creative offensive coordinators may also line him up at H-back and Branson has the skills to compete for a job at the next level.

NEGATIVES: Vertically challenged which could pose mismatch problems against linebackers in the NFL. Not a dominant blocker. Loses focus on occasion and will take his eyes off the ball.

ANALYSIS: Quick, pass catching tight end who consistently gets into the secondary, making big plays. Fluid releasing off the line, immediately gets to top speed and a consistent hand catcher who makes the reception away from his frame. Consistently finds the open spot in the defense, adjusts to the errant throw and looks the pass into his hands. Sturdy receiver who takes the big hit yet holds onto the throw. Gives effort as a blocker and turns defenders off the line.
