Biography: Two-year starter awarded All-Conference honors after his junior and sophomore seasons as well as being named ACC Offensive Player of the Year in 2008. Totals last season included 235/1395/14, after 200/1395/12 the prior year.

Positives: Big, strong ball-carrier best running north-south. Patient, runs with solid instincts and keeps his feet moving on contact. Rarely brought down by the first defender, he has opponents bouncing off him and fights hard to pick up yardage on the inside. Breaks several tackles to pick up extra yardage yet also weaves his way through the traffic and runs around defenders besides running over them. Effectively uses his blocks everywhere on the field, plays with under-rated speed and displays the ability to beat opponents into the open field. Solid pass blocker who stays square and turns defenders from the point of attack.

Negatives: Displays little in the way of quickness in his running. Lacks the ability to immediately cut back against the grain and loses momentum when he must change direction. Marginal skills as a pass catcher.

Analysis: Dwyer has been productive the past three seasons at Georgia Tech and nicely projects as a ball-carrier in a power running offense. Has the skills to develop into a starter at the next level though he is unlikely to be drafted as early as many predict.
