BIOGRAPHY: Junior-college transfer awarded all-Conference honors the two seasons he played for Tulsa. Totals last season included 43/1,112/8
when he averaged 25.9 yards per reception. Suffered a knee injury on the last play of the Conference USA Championship Game.
Junior totals included 39/1,244/11 with an average of 31.9 yards per reception. Was homeless for a time during his junior
college stint and often slept in the school's locker room or in the field press box.
POSITIVES: Marion is a tremendous story besides being a big-play receiver. He must rehab the knee injury suffered last December, yet
he has the skills and speed necessary to find a home as a fourth receiver in the NFL.
NEGATIVES: Limited in the types of routes he can run. Prone to losing concentration on occasion. Marginal skill running after the reception.
ANALYSIS: Explosive receiver who consistently makes big plays from the line of scrimmage. Fluid releasing off the line, displays a great
burst of speed and a nice sense of awareness. Easily makes the reception downfield running full speed, extending his hands
to catch the ball away from his frame. Adjusts to the errant throw, looks the pass into his hands, and uses his frame to shield
away opponents or protect the ball. Comes back into the clearing to make himself an available target. Fluid and plays much
faster than his listed forty time.
