BIOGRAPHY: Junior college transfer who saw sporadic starting action the past two years. All- Conference defensive back last year after posting 43/1/7. Lined up at receiver on occasions, and caught eight passes for 71 yards. Also averaged 21.4 yards on 24 kick returns, bringing one back for a touchdown. Junior totals included 26/2/7.

POSITIVES: Athletic prospect with rare speed. Fluid pedaling in reverse, easily stays downfield with opponents, and he will mix it up throughout the route. Possesses an excellent burst of closing speed and fast enough to make up for mistakes. Willing run defender who throws his pads into the mix.

NEGATIVES: Lacks soft hands when used at receiver. Never establishes himself as a starting defensive back.

ANALYSIS: Mouton offers outstanding physical skills for the next level and the ability to impact games as a return specialist. He's a developmental prospect who will likely be used as a dime back in coverage situations. He offers great upside for a team patient with him, and he could be productive early in his career as a kick returner.
