BIOGRAPHY: Four-year starter awarded all-Conference honors every season since his freshman campaign. PSAC West Defensive Player of the
Year in 2008 after totals of 69/11/2. Junior numbers included 87/13/2 when he also intercepted a pair of passes.
POSITIVES: Jackson has been a productive college player who also displayed steady progress on the field. Hes best on the inside of
a 3-4 alignment, and Jacksons aggressive style of play leads one to believe hell be productive on special teams.
NEGATIVES: Short, taken from the action by opposing tight ends or smothered by blocks.
ANALYSIS: Intense, high-motor defender with terrific instincts. Quickly diagnoses the action, and very aggressive in all aspects of
his play. Flows well to the sidelines, chases around the field to get involved in the action, and attacks ball handlers. Fires
through the gaps up the field defending the run, effectively uses his hands to protect himself, yet also fluid moving in reverse
on pass drops. Plays faster than his forty time. Above- average playing strength, and wraps up tackling, bringing ball carriers
down on initial contact.
