BIOGRAPHY: Three-year starter awarded all-Conference honors since his sophomore season. Named to several all-America teams last season.
Played both left and right tackle at Oregon State.
POSITIVES: Fundamentally sound lineman with an outstanding head for the position. Bends his knees, quickly sets in pass protection, and
stays square. Makes good use of angles, fights hard with his hands, and turns defenders from the action. Keeps his feet moving,
jolts opponents with good punch, and shows ability blocking in motion. Intelligent, picks up assignments, and works well with
teammates.
NEGATIVES: Must improve his overall body strength, as he rarely finishes blocks. Lacks top footwork sliding out to protect the edge.
Does not possess the size to stay at tackle in the NFL. Had a terrible Senior Bowl, and he was just slightly better at the
combine.
ANALYSIS: Levitre was a terrific college offensive lineman and has the ability to play at the next level. He's likely to be placed inside
to guard and may be tried at center. As he physically matures and improves his playing strength, Levitre could be a fixture
in a zone-blocking scheme.
