BIOGRAPHY: All-Conference selection as a senior after leading Oregon State in receiving with 70/1,040/7, also averaging 10.3-yards on 35 punt returns. Missed significant time as a senior with personal issues and injuries and totaled 15/262/2 in the three games he played. Junior receiving numbers included 74/1,293/5 when he initially broke into the starting lineup.

POSITIVES: Competitive pass catcher who displays consistent hands. Fluid releasing off the line, finds the open spot in the defense, and nicely makes the reception in stride. Extends his hands and exposes himself to the big hit in order to come away with the reception.

NEGATIVES: Lacks the classic size for a number two wide out. Does not have the speed to stretch defenses or run to the long ball.

ANALYSIS: Stroughter turned in a tremendous senior campaign after what was a difficult junior season. He lacks the classic size/speed numbers, yet he has the skill to be a number three wideout and ability to produce returning punts.
