BIOGRAPHY: Virginia Tech transfer who totaled 239/1,257/20 on the ground last season, while adding 30/314 as a pass catcher. Junior totals
included 267/992/9, with 20/149/1 as a pass catcher.
POSITIVES: Early in his Virginia Tech career, Ore looked like an up-and-coming prospect, yet we really watched his play level off as
a junior. He dominated a lower level of competition last season, yet Ore is a one-cut, one-speed ball carrier with no single
outstanding feature to his game. His pass catching skills give him a chance to make an NFL roster, yet Ore had best be hitting
on all cylinders this summer to make it out of camp.
NEGATIVES: Shows minimal speed in his game, and is not a back who can turn the corner. Marginal strength, and does not have the ability
to break tackles or pick up a lot of yardage off initial contact. Reportedly dismissed from the Virginia Tech football team
for his lackadaisical attitude and lack of commitment.
ANALYSIS: Patient ball carrier best on the inside. Waits for blocks to develop, displays good footwork, and slips through the small
openings of the defense. Finds the cutback lanes, quickly changes direction, and runs through the hole with authority. Puts
his shoulders down when tackled, and fall forward. Effective blocker when he gives effort. Solid receiver out of the backfield.
