BIOGRAPHY: Two-year starter who posted 60%/2,432/17/15 during an injury-plagued senior season. Junior totals included career numbers
of 61%/3656/19/19.
POSITIVES: Tough, competitive signal caller who does a great job commanding and controlling the offense. Patient in the pocket, displays
outstanding field awareness, and makes proper decisions. Sees the field, knows where his receivers are, and is not afraid
to take chances downfield. Puts zip on throws, and fires the ball into targets. Gets outside the pocket, loses nothing throwing
on the move, and takes off downfield if the opportunity exists. Buys as much time as necessary, and is a gritty passer who
will stand in and take a hit in order to get the ball away.
NEGATIVES: Does not throw with consistent mechanics and steps out of throws or releases the pass off his back foot. Tries to force the
ball into covered receivers on occasion. Lacks height, size and overall physical skills.
ANALYSIS: Bacher has been very productive the past two years, and is an enjoyable college passer to watch on film. He does not possess
the physical skills to play at the next level, yet he is the type of prospect a coach could take a liking to and keep on a
roster as a third passer in a timing offense.
