Biography: Two-year starter at right tackle.
Positives: Tall, physical blocker best in a small area. Plays with a large degree of quickness, blocks with good lean, and controls opponents once engaged at point of attack. Possesses good blocking vision, effectively uses his large frame to seal defenders from the action or engulfs them altogether. Stays square, makes good use of angles, and keeps his feet moving throughout the action.
Negatives: Exploited by speed rushers and lacks the necessary footwork to slide out off the edge in pass protection. Plays off balance. Not a dominant drive-blocking lineman.
Analysis: Davis has been a solid player at Alabama the past two seasons, and his game is on the upswing. Offers enticing size and should only get better as he physically matures and adds bulk to his frame. Davis is a solid long-term prospect with practice squad potential.
