Biography: Four-year starter with rushing totals of 37/158/1 as a senior when he played in just four games before being sidelined with
a knee injury. He also added six receptions and average 15.4 yards on five punt returns. All-Conference selection after his
junior and senior seasons. Totaled 801 yards rushing and nine touchdowns while also adding 25 receptions as a junior after
career rushing numbers of 279/1669/10 as a sophomore.
Positives: Small yet explosive skill player with the ability to score from any area on the field. Finds the running lanes, squeaks through them, and is a creative ball-carrier who makes several defenders miss at any given time. Quickly cut back against the grain losing little momentum, has a burst and slips off opponents to pick up extra yardage. Solid receiver out of the backfield, he has also shown flashes of being an explosive return specialist. Negatives: Undersized and easily brought down at the point of attack by a single defender. Has been injured for much of the past two seasons. Analysis: Jarvis offers the potential to be another productive specialty player from the Kent State program. He's a situational back with return abilities yet must be medically cleared to play this summer. Projection: FA
