Conference: Atlantic Coast
40 Time: 5.36
Biography: Three-year starter at left tackle for North Carolina.
Positives: Large, strong small-area blocker. Blocks with a wide base, bends his knees and stays square. Strong at the point, anchors in pass protection, or gets movement as a run blocker. Displays solid overall strength and jolts defenders with good hand punch, knocking them from their angle of attack.
Negatives: Stiff, lacks footwork in space and marginal blocking range. Has difficulty picking up the blitz and cannot adjust the oncoming defenders.
Analysis: Jolly is a solid run blocker who was out of position at left tackle in college. He has the size and strength to move to the right side in the NFL, yet he is a limited athlete who may be nothing more than a backup in the NFL.
