Conference: Big Sky
40 Time: 4.62
Biography: Four-year starter awarded All-Conference honors the past three seasons. Named as an All-American after his sophomore season. Senior totals included 39/634/6 when he was limited to seven games because of an Achilles injury. Junior totals included 63/917/10 after career totals of 84/1299/10 as a sophomore.
Positives: Dependable, large-bodied receiver with solid hands. Displays a sense of timing, comes back to the ball out of breaks and consistently extends to make the reception away from his frame. Displays good focus, eye/hand coordination, and a lot of natural receiving skills. Gets vertical and contorts in midair to grab the pass away from defenders. Nicely adjusts to the errant throw and does a solid job tracking the deep ball to make the reception in stride.
Negatives: Does not show much of a burst and lacks downfield speed. Occasionally drops some catchable throws.
Analysis: Boyce has been ultra-productive in Eastern Washington's spread offense and has the size as well a skill to make it as a fourth or fifth receiver at the next level.
