Positives: Productive college pass rusher with average size/speed numbers for the next level. Bends his knees, consistently playing with leverage and rarely off his feet.

Negatives: Easily turned from his angle of attack or controlled at the point by single blocker. Fast off the edge, yet he does not display great pursuit speed on the field.

Analysis: Ruffin has been a terror on the football field since he entered Northern Iowa. He does not possess the speed to be a pure edge rusher in the NFL, and at this point in time, he lacks the size to play across from left tackle. Ruffin offers possibilities as a backup lineman. He's a prospect with a special teams mentality.
