Chris Dyk
Biography: Two-year starter who's been used at both tackle and guard.
Positives: Strong, small area position blocker with both size and growth potential. Makes good use of blocking angles, stays square and easily seals defenders from the action. Strong at the point, gets movement run blocking and stays with the action until the whistle blows. Plays with a nasty attitude, keeps his head on a swivel and quickly picks up stunts or twists. Effective with his hands and punches opponents from their angle of attack. Negatives: Stiff sliding out in pass protection, he?s susceptible to speed rushers and struggles to adjust. Not a natural knee bender. Analysis: Dyk is a versatile lineman who elevated his game the past two seasons. He's a solid developmental prospect who offers possibilities as a right tackle. Projection: FA |
