Biography: Two-year starter awarded All-Conference honors as a senior.
Positives: Stout, college left tackle who projects to the right side. Quickly sets in pass protection, stays square and pushes opponents from their angle of attack with outstanding punch. Makes good use of angles, seals defenders from plays with body positioning, and works hard until the whistle blows.
Negatives: Struggles sliding laterally in pass protection, Lacks blocking range and exploited by speed rushers. Not light on his feet and slow adjusting to opponents.
Analysis: Linkenbach has been a solid blocker on Cincinnati's high powered offense the past two seasons yet is really best suited to play in confined quarters. He will have an opportunity at the next level at right tackle or inside at one of the two guard positions.
