Biography: Two-year starter awarded All-Conference honors since his junior season. Senior totals included 73/12.5/8.5 after 69/17.5/10.5 as a junior.
Positives: Terrific college pass rusher with potential in a four-man front. Explodes off the snap, quick moving in every direction of the field and displays good speed off the edge. Bends his knees, plays with good pad level and balance. Shows hand technique working to protect himself or fighting to get off blocks, keeps his feet driving up the field, and fast in every direction. Can bend off the edge and chase the action in pursuit.
Negatives: Rather easily knocked from his angle of attack by a single blocker or handled at the point. Primarily asked to make plays up the field in college and rarely used in space.
Analysis: Lang is a solid athlete with adequate size for the next level. Very productive in college, his best opportunity is to line up across from left tackle and chase the quarterback at the next level.
