Biography: Two-year starter experienced at both left and right tackle.
Positives: Tall, patient blocker best in a small area. Stays square, jolts defenders at the point of attack, and most effective as a position blocker. Works to bend his knees, sets with a wide base, and flashes power. Makes effective use of blocking angles, and works until the whistle blows.
Negatives: Over-extends into blocks and lacks balance. Does not possess a dominant base and struggles to finish blocks. Gets lazy with his hands. Marginal footwork sliding in pass protection.
Analysis: Walsh has next-level size and has flashed skill the past two seasons. He's best off on the right side, and he can make it at the next level if he adds bulk and strength to his frame and then learns to finish blocks.
