Biography: Three-year starter awarded All-Conference honors as a senior after totaling 56/673/4. Junior totals of 35/501/1 came after career numbers of 61/830/1 as a sophomore.
Positives: Reliable pass catcher with a large degree of upside. Quickly releases off the line, fights with his hands to get separation, and displays solid route running skills. Quickly gets into breaks, stays low on exit, and comes back to the ball to make himself an available target. Exposes himself to the big hit in order to make the tough reception. Adjust the errant throw, extends his hands, and looks the pass in. Uses his frame to shield away opponents. Plays with good body control, displaying tremendous focus as well as concentration.
Negatives: Has really struggled with injuries the past two years. Does not play to his forty time.
Analysis: McGaha is a natural receiver with the underlying abilities to be a productive third wide out for an NFL team. He must start to stay healthy and get back to the point where he was as a sophomore to be a legitimate player at the next level.
