Conference: Mid-Eastern Athletic
40 Time: 4.42
Biography: All-Conference selection as a senior after posting 197/1027/6 on the ground and adding 13/200 to as a pass catcher. Junior totals included 612 yards on the ground with one score and 20 receptions. Began his career at the University of Tennessee but was dismissed in November of 2007 after several suspensions.
Positives: Quick ball-carrier with good running vision. Finds the running lanes, displays a burst through the hole and rarely brought down on the first defender. Solid receiver out of the backfield. Effectively uses his blocks everywhere.
Negatives: Not overly elusive or creative. Gathers into tackles and does not always work to finish runs. He has had several off the field issues in the past.
Analysis: Coker has the size/speed numbers to play at the next level yet has underachieved for most of his college career. Must really get his priorities in order and dedicate himself to all aspects of the game for a future in the NFL.
