Rafael Priest
Position: CB
Class: 5Sr
School: TCU
Conference: Mountain West
HT: 5-9.5
WT: 172
40 Time: 4.52
Biography: Four-year starter awarded All-Conference honors the past two seasons. Senior totals included 18/1/7 after 26/1/11 as a junior.

Positives: Undersized yet fluid cornerback with solid ball skills. Smooth pedaling in reverse, can flip his hips and loses nothing transitioning to run with opponents. Plays faster than his timed speed, effectively reads receivers eyes and gets his head back around to locate the pass in the air. Stays with assignments, displays solid awareness and has a burst to the action.

Negatives: Must improve his play against the run. Undersized and will be out-positioned by large opponents.

Analysis: Priest has shown skill the past three seasons and is a cornerback opponents purposely stay away from. He lacks top size/speed numbers for the next level yet is a prospect who could definitely make it as a dime back for an NFL team.

Projection: 7-FA
