Positives: Opportunistic defensive back with solid size. Quick up the field defending the run, fast to the sidelines, and possesses a fluid change of direction. Shows good hands for the interception, and is constantly around the ball.

Negatives: Easily taken from the action by blocks. Struggles battling opponents to defend the throw. Does not always take proper angles to the action.

Analysis: Hicks has flown under the radar screen the past three seasons yet is a serviceable player who could end up on a roster as a ninth defensive back.
