Biography: Four-year starter awarded All-Conference honors the past two seasons. Senior totals included 70/954/9 after junior numbers of 104/1402/13. Posted 62 receptions as a sophomore.
Positives: Sturdy, sure handed receiver with poor size/speed numbers. Uses his hands to get off the line of scrimmage, displays terrific focus and natural pass catching skills. Stays low exiting breaks, positions himself to make the reception and effectively uses his frame to shield away opponents. Extends to make the catch away from his body then keeps the play in bounds trying to pick up positive yardage running after the catch. Exposes himself to the big hit in order to come away with the ball and regularly makes the difficult reception in contorted positions. Displays soft and strong hands with the ability to pluck the fastball from the air.
Negatives: Possesses marginal quickness, speed and may have difficulty getting separation at the next level. Not a big bodied receiver. Was the beneficiary of an offense which threw into ordinate amount of receiver screens.
Analysis: Roosevelt has been very productive on the college level yet he lacks the true size/speed numbers to be anything other than a fourth or fifth receiver at the next level. That being the case his natural pass catching skills will help earn him a spot on a roster.
