Biography: Led Michigan in rushing as a senior after stepping into the starting lineup. Totals included 96/502/8 on the ground, with one reception. Junior numbers included 103/533/9 when he initially led the team in rushing.
Positives: Strong, interior runner who gets the most out of every carry. Patient, waits for blocks to develop, and keeps his feet moving on contact, breaking tackles and picking up yardage. Grinds it out on the inside, gives effort blocking and is a smart player with excellent vision and instincts. Rarely brought down by the first defender.
Negatives: Straight-line runner who loses a lot of momentum changing direction and lacks top-end speed. Does tend to run a bit all and makes himself an easy target for defenders.
Analysis: Minor did a solid job in his role at Michigan the past two seasons and can make it in the NFL as a short yardage runner who can also effectively block in the backfield.
