Conference: Conference USA
40 Time: 4.65
Biography: Four-year starter awarded All-Conference honors since his sophomore season. Rushing totals last season included 219/1018/8, with receiving numbers of 29/289/1. Junior numbers included 219/1113/10 on the ground, with 33/248/1 as a pass catcher. Recorded career-highs of 1586 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns on the ground as a sophomore.
Positives: Elusive, creative back who has been very productive the past four years. Displays great quickness, footwork, and the ability to make defenders miss. Helps the quarterback sell ball fakes, effective receiver out of the backfield, extends to make the reception away from his frame. Sets up defenders, makes them miss, and easily avoid piles.
Negatives: Rather easily brought down at the point of attack by a single defender. Marginal speed and struggles to beat defenders into the open field or run to daylight.
Analysis: Fletcher has been incredibly productive on the college level, yet he lacks the pure size/speed numbers to be anything other than a situational ball-carrier at the next level. His ability as a pass catcher gives him the opportunity to be a fourth back for an NFL team.
