Conference: Non-Division I
40 Time: 4.65
Biography: Four-year starter All-Conference honors since his freshman season and a multiple All-American recipient. The senior totals included 74/1020/12 with a 21.3 yard average on three punt returns. Junior totals included 91/1442/20 after 92/1210/14 his sophomore season.
Positives: Ultra-productive small school receiver with marginal size/speed numbers for the next level. Quickly releases off the line and immediately gets to top speed. Sells pass routes, comes back to the ball and displays good awareness on the field. Uses his frame to shield away opponents. Looks the ball into his hands and displays good focus as well as concentration. Goes up in a crowd for the difficult catch.
Negatives: Lacks a burst of speed and cannot beat defenders down the field. Not a big-bodied wide out.
Analysis: Spevak has been the go-to guy opponents have been unable to stop the past four years. He offers natural receiving skills and a well-rounded game for the next level as a fifth receiver, preferably in a timing offense.
