Biography: Two-year starter at left tackle awarded All-Conference honors as a senior.
Positives: Large, strong college left tackle better on the right side at the next level. Bends his knees, keeps his feet moving, and easily controls defenders once engaged the point of attack. Solid run blocker, shows strength at the point of attack, and drives defenders off the line. Gets his hands to defenders and easily knocks them from their angle of attack. Patient in pass protection and makes good use of angles.
Negatives: Marginal quickness off the snap. Rumbles around the field and not light on his feet. Exploited by speed rushers off the edge.
Analysis: Eastman has been a solid player the past two seasons and comes with good size as well as growth potential. He's a solid developmental prospect who could eventually back up the right side once he gets stronger and physically matures.
