PLAYERS
Biography: Three-year starter who totaled 46/1/12 as a junior after sophomore totals of 44/1/10. Posted a career high 66 tackles as a
true freshman.
Positives: Underrated cornerback best facing the action. Quick flipping his hips to transition with opponents off the line, runs with receivers downfield, effectively reads their eyes, and gets his head back around and locates the ball. Physical, jams opponents at the line of scrimmage, then uses his frame to box out receivers and defend the throw. Displays a burst to the action and nice move to the ball. Possesses good hands for the pick. Physical and quick up the field to help out in run defense. Negatives: Seems to lose a sense of where the ball is in relation to his opponent. Does not show great top-end speed. Analysis: Jackson has been very productive on the college level and offers potential in a variety of systems. He offers a good degree of upside as well starting potential at the next level, yet he must smooth off the rough edges of his game. Projection: 1-2 ![]() Gary Bogdon/SI
