Biography: Junior college transfer who moved into the starting lineup last season then totaled 44/3.5/2. Struggled with injuries as a junior and finished the year with 29/6.5/3.
Positives: Athletic college defensive end who may be best standing up over tackle at the next level. Covers a good amount of area on the field, quickly changes direction, and collapses laterally to the flanks making plays on the ball-carrier. Easily moves around on his feet, plays with good knee bend and has a closing burst.
Negatives: Slow to react and shows a lot of hesitation in his game. Easily controlled at the point and handled by tight ends.
Analysis: Coulter looks the part on the field yet has been marginally productive the past two seasons and is not an impact player upfront. He may have a home as a rush linebacker in a 3-4 alignment if he proves his worth on special teams.
