Biography: Thee-year starter awarded All-Conference honors as a senior after totals of 66/4/7. Junior numbers included 52/1/4. Posted 52 tackles as a true freshman, when he moved in with the first team.
Positives: Physical corner with solid size yet marginal speed. Fluid pedaling in reverse, can flip his hips and displays a burst of speed. Strong at the point, physical with opponents throughout the route and a solid open field tackler. Uses his size as an advantage, displays a solid break to the throw and physically beats down opponents.
Negatives: Very quick to leave his backpedal. Slow out of his transition, lacks top end speed, and struggles staying downfield with opponents. Slow locating the pass in the air. Does not display great change of direction.
Analysis: Warren made an impact as a true freshman for Michigan yet lacks the athleticism to be a starter at the next level. Better facing the action, he offers possibilities as a dime back in a zone system and may ultimately find a home at safety.
