Positives: King-sized blocker who?s shown flashes of ability the past two seasons. Blocks with a wide base, keeps his feet moving, and is a solid position blocker who steers defenders from the action. Quickly gets his hands into defenders, correctly places them, and strong at the point of attack.
Negatives: Stiff, struggles to adjust and as a result has difficulty finishing blocks. Only effective in a small area. Bends at the waist or over-extends in pass protection.
Analysis: Ryan's size is enticing, but he's an offensive lineman with an incomplete game. He will have his work cut out for him to find a spot on the practice squad.
