Conference: Missouri Valley
40 Time: 4.62
Biography: Junior college transfer who broke into the starting lineup as a senior then posted 49/5/4. All-Conference selection last season.
Positives: Nice-sized safety prospect best playing downhill. Looks imposing, strong at the point of attack, delivers a blow to ball-carriers and aggressively lays his shoulders into opponents. Defeats blocks on his way the action and brings ball-handlers down on initial contact, and does an adequate job reading pass plays facing the action.
Negatives: Does too much body tackling and does not consistently wrap up at the point of attack, Lacks great range in centerfield and shows minimal quickness in his game.
Analysis: Scott displayed a lot of skills last season, his first as a starter at Northern Iowa. He's a traditional strong safety and may get consideration at outside linebacker. Scott is a developmental prospect who will have to make his mark on special teams to have a career at the next level.
