Arizona 69, Oklahoma 27

PHOENIX (Ticker) -- Carl Schexnayder caught four touchdown passes as the Arizona Rattlers defeated the Oklahoma Wranglers, 69-27.

Schexnayder had five receptions for 142 yards and grabbed a 45-yard TD pass from Sherdrick Bonner at the start of the third quarter to give Arizona (5-3) a dominating 40-10 lead. Bonner completed 8-of-14 passes for 144 yards and three touchdowns and Chad DeGranier threw a pair of TD passes for the Rattlers, who improved to 4-0 all-time against Oklahoma (3-6).

Chris Horn intercepted his second pass of the season, caught a TD pass and rushed for a score and Jerric Bledsoe caught his team-leading fourth interception of the season for Arizona, which entered the contest with the second-best defense in the league and forced five turnovers in the contest.

Dominic Reyes and Hunky Cooper both rushed for a TD for the Rattlers, who moved into a first-place tie in the Western Division with the San Jose SaberCats.

Ron Lopez threw for 147 yards and a touchdown before being replaced by newly acquired Jeff Loots, who completed six passes for 58 yards for the Wranglers, who fell to 0-5 on the road this season.

Lamont Cooper returned a missed field goal for a 52-yard TD for Oklahoma in the fourth quarter and is now tied with two other players for the league's all-time lead with 18 returns for scores. Cooper also had a team-high nine catches for 116 yards and a touchdown catch for the Wranglers, who lost despite dominating the time-of-possession by more than 16 minutes.

The Wranglers saw another personal highlight when kicker Chris Sailer nailed a career-long 59-yard field goal.
