CFL Recap (Edmonton-Toronto) Posted: Thur July 23, 1998 at 11:29 p.m. EDT EDMONTON 30, TORONTO 27 (OT)Sean Fleming's 21-yard field goal as time expired in the second overtime period gave the Edmonton Eskimos a 30-27 victory over the Toronto Argonauts. Toronto quarterback Jay Barker ran three yards for his second touchdown of the game on the final play of regulation. Neither team scored in the first extra session before Fleming booted his third field goal of the game. Jimmy Kemp, starting in place of the injured David Archer, threw for two touchdowns and rushed for another as Edmonton (3-1) moved into sole possession of first place in the Western Division. Noel Prefontaine kicked a field goal and added three singles for Toronto (1-3), which has lost consective games at SkyDome following a 17-game home winning streak. © 1998 Sportsticker Enterprises, LP
