Not surprisingly, the two teams combined for 1,015 yards in this shootout. However, the Herd shut down Louisville in the second half and rolled from there.

K-State looked sluggish for most of the game before rallying to take a 34-30 lead late in the game. Purdue's high-flying offense then took over in the clutch to stun a Wildcats team that still seemed shocked from its BCS snub.
