DALLAS (AP) -- Arkansas athletic director Frank Broyles was taken from Cotton Bowl stadium in an ambulance Saturday after experiencing tightness in his chest during the Razorbacks' bowl game against Texas.

Broyles, who had a heart attack several years ago, was taken to the emergency room at Baylor University Medical Center, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Tests showed that Broyles, 75, did not have a heart attack, a university statement said. Additional tests were planned.

Doctors had not decided whether Broyles would be admitted, according to the spokeswoman. But she said Broyles was fine "and perky, now that they're winning."

Arkansas led 10-6 at the time. The Razorbacks won the game 27-6.

Broyles was watching the game from a VIP box two levels above the stadium's press box when he felt tightness in his chest and thought he needed to go to a hospital, a Cotton Bowl official said.
