Season Summary:
The defending national champions didn't get all of the breaks in 1999, with a late loss to Arkansas dooming the Vols' repeat hopes. Travis Henry emerged at running back over a struggling Jamal Lewis, and Martin's play got better as the season progressed. Cedric Wilson remains their only receving threat.
