ATLANTA (AP) -- Kelly Campbell, Georgia Tech's leading wide receiver, practiced Saturday in preparation for the Jan. 1 Gator Bowl, but his participation in the game remains in doubt after a misdemeanor drug arrest.

Campbell was arrested Thursday on a misdemeanor marijuana possession charge. He remains on the team pending results of a drug test.

"My procedure here is to test, whenever there is an incident," Tech coach George O'Leary said. "I will know the answer (Monday)."

Campbell was one of two passengers in a car pulled over by a Cobb County police officer. During what was categorized as a routine traffic stop, the officer reportedly smelled marijuana and saw Campbell try to hide it under his seat.

O'Leary said Campbell told him the marijuana belonged to the driver.
