The Plot

The product is a lot better than last year, but is anybody buying? The most productive rushing twosome in the league over the last two seasons (2,900 yards) will keep the heat off question-mark QB Tony Lindsay, whose career has taken a serious nose-dive since his freshman season. Kenyatta Wright is one of the top three linebackers in the league, but he's stuck in front of a secondary that gets burned enough to earn the "Backdraft" award.

Starring

LB Kenyatta Wright -- Our vote for the best coverman linebacker in the league.
RB Nathaniel Simmons -- With no dominant receiving threat, should get even more carries this season.

Co-starring

QB Tony Lindsay -- Coming off mediocre season following a standout freshman campaign.
LB Tarrell Knauls -- Five sacks last season tied for the team lead.

Why it will work

Teams won't be able to run on the Cowboys, but they'll do plenty of it themselves.

Why it won't

Too many good quarterbacks in the league. The secondary will be the death of Oklahoma State.
