Season summary: Georgia Tech has exceeded all expectations, ending its season on a seven-game win streak -- including a third straight over rival Georgia -- and losing only 26-21 to Florida State and in overtime against N.C. State. The keys have been the emergence of Godsey, who in his first season has starter has broken most of predecessor Joe Hamilton's records, and a vastly improved defense, which recorded 39 sacks and 30 turnovers.

Death Valley, with Saturday night home upsets of Tennessee and

oft-maligned Booty appeared out of a job when Rohan Davey led LSU's
overtime defeat
of the Vols, but his injury allowed Booty to step back in and shine, at
least until a
disastrous finale against Arkansas. Reed is among the nation's top
wideouts, and RB
LaBrandon Toefield is expected back from injury.
