Joe Hamilton ran for two touchdowns and threw for another score as Georgia Tech continued its postseason magic with a 35-30 victory over West Virginia in the CarQuest Bowl at Miami.

West Virginia's Amos Zereoue (zair-uh-way) was vowel-for-vowel the best back in the Big East, rushing for 400 yards more than any other player. His 1,505 rushing yards ranks him fifth in the nation, and his 16 TDs are a major reason the Mountaineers are bowling this year. Georgia Tech QB Joe Hamilton ranked second in the ACC in total offense, passing for 12 TDs and rushing for five more.

Among the teams Tech nearly beat are Notre Dame, Georgia and North Carolina - the Yellow Jackets have shown they can play with anyone, but can they win? Receiver Harvey Middleton has seven touchdowns - all in Tech wins - so if he finds the end zone, that doesn't bode well for West Virginia.

Georgia Tech averaged 107 rushing yards in five losses and 175 rushing yards in its five wins. The biggest factor may be RB Charles Wiley, who has nine TDs on the year, but just 154 yards in Tech's five losses. West Virginia's run defense is fair, allowing 131 yards a game.
