Sugar Bowl

FSU 31, Ohio St. 14
Thad Busby threw for a touchdown and ran for another score as Florida State assured itself of a top-five ranking for the 11th straight season with a 31-14 victory over Ohio State in the Sugar Bowl at New Orleans, Louisiana.

Recap | Game Summary

QB Thad Busby (25 TDs, 3,311 yards) and DE Andre Wadsworth (a Top 5 pick in the upcoming draft) are the Seminoles' studs; LB Andy Katzenmoyer (93 tackles, 11 TFL, 2 INT, 1 sack, 1 TD) is the Buckeyes' man, with WR David Boston (14 TDs) a huge threat.

This game may well be one of the better ones of the season. The Seminoles' one slip-up came at the worst time, and the Buckeyes have losses to No. 1 Michigan and a past-No. 1 (Penn State) by a total of 10 points.

FSU has given up only 571 rushing yards all year - and 163 were in the loss to Florida. Still, the Seminoles lead the nation, giving up 1.5 yards a run.
