Team of the Week

Wisconsin. Badgers fans lived their ultimate dream Saturday, with Ron Dayne breaking the rushing record and the team winning the Big Ten on the same day.

Unsung Hero

Chris Weinke, QB, Florida State. Maybe it's that he's older, maybe it's all that talent around him, but no one seems in a hurry to hand any hardware to a guy who threw six TDs on Saturday and is the MVP of the nation's No. 1 team.

Play of the Week

Virginia Tech QB Michael Vick, who never missed a beat when he fumbled scrambling right, picking it right back up, changing direction and completing a pass for first down.

Best coaching call

Hawaii's June Jones, who may be the smartest coach in America for a) leaving the No Fun League for paradise and b) taking a team that went 0-12 the year before to what is now a 7-3, bowl-bound season.

Quote of the Week

" It's pretty obvious; Do you like to share an ice cream sundae or do you like to eat it yourself?"
-- Wisconsin offensive coordinator Brian White on what it feels like to win the Big Ten outright.
